Kupuna Needs Project
For those 62 and older or those who are immunocompromised and endangered by the COVID19 virus, you can have food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies delivered to your home.  Dial 1 (808) 202-0820 or 1 (808) 202-1203 for assistance or click here for more information. 

Rental/Financial Assistance 
Catholic Charities Hawaii can provide financial assistance for rent and utility payments.  On Oahu, call 521-HELP (4357) .

Food Assistance
The Department of Education has "Grab & Go" breakfast and lunch distribution on all islands.  Click here for information.  The Hawaii Food Bank also has distribution sites on the island of Oahu.  For their schedule, click here. 
 
Senior Help Line
This is a service of the Hawaii Department of Elderly Affairs.  They help people find assistance for aging, disability and caregiving, such as with Nutrition, Housing, Transportation, and Financing. Hawaii Meals On Wheels 
If you are 60, but have difficulty getting around or preparing meals, you may be eligible for services.  Call them directly at 988-6747 for more information.  If you receive Medicaid, please contact your case manager. 

Catholic Charities
Services include expert advice on identifying, accessing, and coordinating Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Long-Term Care planning and more.  They can also provide transportation to medical appointments and shopping.  Contact the senior intake services at 527-4777.

• Kupuna Needs Project
  • Bring your donation of canned goods, non-perishable foods, and toiletries to the church and place them in the collection baskets in front of the altar.  ROL is a drop-off site for this outreach and our young adults will be delivering needed items to the elderly and those with compromised health in our Waipio-Waikele neighborhood.  Click here to help or get more information.
• Malama Meals
  • Volunteers are needed to distribute meals to the elderly in the Waipahu area.  If you can help, email Jackie at [email protected]. 
• Donate Blood
  • The Blood Bank of Hawaii is in serious need of donors.  If you are healthy and can be a donor, click here for more information or to schedule an appointment. 
• Friday Fasts
  • Fasting is part of our Lenten discipline and we're asking every family or individual parishioner to fast one meal every Friday in memory of the Lord’s suffering.  Place the money you would have spent on the meal in a white envelope and write FRIDAY FAST.  You can mail it to us, drop it in the candle donation box, or donate to this new fund through online giving.  All money donated will be placed in a restricted fund and distributed in our name to area charities that are serving the most vulnerable in the community.
• Prayer Partners
  • Find one person that you can reach out to daily during this crisis to check on, encourage, assist, and pray for.  It could be a family member, friend, co-worker, classmate, or neighbor.  We all know someone we can befriend.
