Adults (those who are 7 years and older) who desire to be baptized are prepared according to the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This includes preparation for Confirmation and First Holy Communion. The Rite of Acceptance into the Catechumenate is celebrated twice each year, and the Catechumenate is ongoing so people can begin preparation anytime. Formation includes one-on-one mentoring to accommodate a variety of schedules and needs, participation in parish activities, and reflection on the various rites in preparation for Baptism.
